2 day turning course at Ellekers Wood 15-16.6

A Two day bowl turning on a pole lathe with Yoav Elkayam in the beautiful Ellekers wood on the 15th-16th of June.

An opportunity for both complete beginners and experienced turners to learn new skills and improve on existing ones.

We'll be learning to use traditional hook tools on a foot powered lathe, making bowls, cups and plates depending on the level of skill of each participant.
We'll discuss sharpening, wood selection, form and many other relevant topics to this beautiful craft.

All materials are included as well as a hefty lunch in the beautiful Ellekers wood workshop.
Breakfast and dinner is self catered, cooking facilities are available as well as on site camping vow Ellekers wood.
